Cookie Policy

This policy describes how Sieveback uses cookies and similar technologies on sieveback.world.

Last updated:

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences, keep sessions secure, and—only with your consent—understand how visitors use pages in aggregate. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags referenced collectively as "cookies" in this policy.

2. Who is responsible?

Sieveback, 6200 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028, USA. Contact: touch@sieveback.world. For broader data practices, see our Privacy Policy.

3. How you control cookies

On your first visit, a banner offers three choices: Accept All, Reject, or Cookie Settings. Reject disables optional categories while keeping strictly necessary cookies. You may reopen settings by clearing the tdde_cookie_consent cookie in your browser and reloading, or by contacting us to reset preferences manually.

You may also block cookies through browser settings. Note that blocking all cookies can prevent the consent banner from remembering your choice and may limit certain features.

4. Categories we use

4.1 Strictly necessary

These cookies are required for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our banner. They include storing your cookie consent decision so we do not ask repeatedly. Legal basis: legitimate interest and, where applicable, exemption from consent under ePrivacy rules for essential storage.

4.2 Analytics

When enabled, analytics cookies help us count visits, see which pages are viewed most often, and detect navigation errors. Data is aggregated and not used to profile you for advertising on third-party sites. Legal basis: consent. Typical retention: thirteen (13) months or less depending on the tool configuration.

4.3 Marketing

When enabled, marketing cookies may measure whether visitors arrived from permitted campaigns (including Google Ads) and whether contact forms were submitted after viewing specific pages. We do not use manipulative retargeting based on sensitive categories such as health conditions. Legal basis: consent. Retention: up to twelve (12) months unless you withdraw consent earlier.

5. Detailed cookie table

The following table summarizes cookies we may set after you make a choice:

  • tdde_cookie_consent — Stores JSON consent preferences (necessary, analytics, marketing). Duration: 365 days. Provider: first party.
  • Analytics identifiers — If analytics are accepted, pseudonymous identifiers may be set by our analytics vendor under a data processing agreement. Duration: per vendor, typically 13 months maximum.
  • Campaign attribution — If marketing is accepted, short-lived cookies may record UTM parameters for internal reporting only. Duration: 30–90 days.

6. Third-party content

We load icon fonts from a content delivery network (jsDelivr) for visual elements. That provider may log technical requests. We select vendors with published privacy commitments and minimize embedded third-party scripts.

7. International visitors

Visitors from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland receive the consent banner by default. We apply the same choices globally for consistency. Where local law requires additional notices, those rights are described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Updates

We review this Cookie Policy when we add or remove technologies. The date at the top of the page changes with each revision. Significant changes may trigger a renewed consent request.

9. Questions
